Great Lake Archers  are an archery group developed by a small group of modern archers who could not find a suitable club in Taupo for modern archers using modern equipment , so they decided to start a club that catered  for all archers.  We know there are many others in Taupo who have a similar experience.  We now welcome all archers  to share this club. We cannot accommodate crossbows at this stage  but are open to those  who identify as humble beginners through Tournament shooters .  We are a sociable target archery club and as we grow we want to see further development in archery as a sport and include a Field Archery course .
